Dear Sir,
In 19… I married a well-preserved widow who had a grown daughter. Shortly after the wedding I adopted her.
My father often visited us and as a result married my daughter. In this way my daughter became my mother, and my father my son-in-law.
My father’s wife, i.e. my daughter, who was at the same time my second mother, gave birth to a boy, who of course became my brother and at the same time my grandson.
Since I am the husband of the mother of my stepdaughter, my wife became a grandmother, because she is the mother of my father’s wife.
Under these circumstances I am my wife’s husband and her grandson.
Then my wife also gave birth to a child – a boy. He became my father’s brother-in-law, being the brother of his wife, and to me he became an uncle, being the brother of my stepmother, who is also my daughter.
In this way I am my own grandfather, since my wife is a grandmother and I am her husband. I most respectfully ask you to tell me whether I am entitled to family allowances for my son, i.e. my uncle.
